Meet Our Team

Megan Boyer, a 28-year-old Johnstown native, is a NICU nurse with a deep passion for caring for the tiniest patients. She chose nursing as her profession because of her desire to make a difference in people’s lives, and there’s nothing more rewarding than seeing babies grow stronger and finally go home with their families. Outside of work, Megan stays active and feels incredibly grateful for a healthy body that allows her to push her limits. When it comes to music, she’s all about country when she’s relaxing, but for workouts, she loves a mix of pop and rap to keep her energy high. Spin has been a huge part of Megan’s fitness journey—she’s been taking Lexi’s classes for years and knows that SweatRx is going to be nothing short of incredible.

Originally from King of Prussia, PA, Meghan DeFrancesco now calls Johnstown—specifically Daisytown—home. A lifelong educator at heart, she holds a bachelor’s degree in English and Psychology with a secondary education certification for grades 7-12, as well as a master’s in education. As the Assistant Director of Student Engagement at Saint Francis University, Meghan oversees Greek Life, Student Activities, Orientation Counselors, and marketing and community relations for the university’s Esports teams. She is passionate about working with students, watching them grow into confident leaders while achieving their collegiate goals, and she feels incredibly grateful for the supportive campus community around her. Fitness has never been her thing—traditional gyms felt overwhelming and intimidating—but spin changed everything. For Meghan, it’s not just a workout; it’s like dancing on a bike with her best friends (while slightly dying). The welcoming atmosphere, the shared struggle, and the post-class high make it completely addicting. Her playlists bring all the energy—think pop anthems, frat-party vibes, and songs that make you feel like an absolute badass while riding. Meghan believes SweatRx is the rhythmic spin studio in Johnstown, offering a supportive, high-energy environment where every move is customizable, every rider gets stronger, and every class flies by in the best way possible. Outside of the studio, she adores her six-year-old pit bull, Harper, who is truly her furbaby.

Sabrina DeVore, a Johnstown, PA native, is all about creating a welcoming and supportive space for every rider who steps into class. Working at Forest Hills Pharmacy, she loves the camaraderie of her coworkers and the energy they bring to each day. Spin has become a passion for her, not just for the physical strength she’s gained but also for the mental clarity it provides. She understands the hesitation that can come with working out in front of others and is dedicated to making her classes a comfortable and enjoyable experience for everyone. Music-wise, Sabrina loves variety—she listens to just about everything, keeping her playlists fresh and exciting. With her encouraging spirit and focus on both strength and confidence, she hopes to inspire others to push past their doubts and discover how empowering movement can be.

Morgan Good, a Conemaugh Township native, has always had a passion for helping others, both in and out of the fitness world. With a background in Community Health Education and a Master’s in Behavioral and Community Health Needs from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, her career path was shaped by a mentor who provided her with the support she once needed. Now, as the Community School Director at Greater Johnstown Senior High School through Communities in Schools of Pennsylvania, Morgan finds purpose in building relationships with students who are often labeled as "troubled" or "too hard to handle," helping them grow and thrive. Fitness has been a part of her life since high school, and after teaching group fitness in college, she found a new home in spin—where community and connection became just as important as the workout itself. A pop-punk fan at heart, Morgan keeps her playlists diverse, ensuring a high-energy ride for every class. She’s been a longtime supporter of SweatRx, having known Lexi since high school and witnessing firsthand the welcoming, inclusive atmosphere she has built. Outside of the studio, Morgan adores her 5-year-old German Shepherd and embraces her role as a proud bonus mom to two wonderful boys.

Emmalie, a 21-year-old from Johnstown, PA, is currently in nursing school, pursuing a career that aligns with her love for caring for others. She thrives in high-stress situations and is drawn to the fast-paced, critical nature of nursing. The challenge of staying calm under pressure while providing excellent care excites her, and she’s passionate about continuous learning to stay updated on the latest evidence-based practices. Outside of nursing, Emmalie finds joy in movement—spinning and working out serve as her ultimate stress relief and a way to support her mental health. She fell in love with spin through the friendships she built and the energy of the classes. For her, spin is more than just a workout—it’s an experience. The playlist and dancing on the bike make up most of the fun, with the connections formed after class being just as meaningful. Music-wise, she doesn’t stick to one genre—her playlists have everything, and she loves incorporating what will create the best vibe for the class. What truly makes SweatRx special to Emmalie is the incredible team and the welcoming, modern environment. The instructors are talented, inspiring, and genuinely supportive—you could meet them for the first time and feel like you’ve known them forever. It’s a space that embraces everyone, encourages growth, and creates a community unlike any other. Who wouldn’t want to come to SweatRx, jam out, and have the time of their life?

Ashlee Mazurak, originally from Ebensburg, PA, is all about building connections—whether it’s in her career, in the spin studio, or at home with her five beloved fur babies: Max, Bentley, Oliver, Lilo, and Joey. With a Bachelor's in Accounting and a Master’s in Business Administration & HR, she chose this career path for its flexibility and the satisfaction that comes from problem-solving with numbers. Currently, she works as the Facilities & Events Coordinator/Student Engagement Assistant at Saint Francis University but is on the lookout for a new opportunity where she can fully utilize her degree—so stay tuned! What she loves most about her current role is the strong sense of community, where both students and staff feel like family. When it comes to fitness, Ashlee didn’t always love working out—it felt more like a chore than something enjoyable. That changed when she discovered spin. She realized that exercise isn’t just about physical movement; it’s a celebration of what the body is capable of and a testament to mental resilience. Every class is a reminder that she’s stronger than she thinks, pushing through challenges while prioritizing both her well-being and mental health. Her playlists bring the perfect energy to every ride, featuring a mix of pop, hip-hop, and rap, with artists like Taylor Swift, Sabrina Carpenter, Jonas Brothers, Tate McRae, ZAYN, Harry Styles, Mac Miller, and Post Malone. Ashlee believes that SweatRx is so much more than a workout—it's a community. It’s where motivation, energy, and transformation collide in an atmosphere that welcomes everyone, whether they’re seasoned riders or just starting their journey. With the most supportive instructors and a class structure that pushes you further than you ever thought possible, SweatRx makes sure you leave every session feeling empowered, loved, and recharged.

Mary Tate, a proud Johnstown native, is a 30-year-old mom of three beautiful kids—Owen (6), Mary “Josie” (4), and Emma (2)—with her husband, Tyler. Their family also includes a lovable Great Dane named Ivy and a cat named Jane. Mary works for Grace Care Consulting as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) in Medication Therapy Management. With six years of experience as a pharmacy technician, including time spent working in the hospital, Mary chose this profession because she loves helping people and is fascinated by how medications affect the body. She especially loves being able to give back by helping those who were part of the education system manage their medications through annual reviews. Fitness wasn’t always on Mary’s radar, but she’s now a proud convert. She loves the mental and physical benefits exercise brings, which pushes her to be the best version of herself and sets an example for her kids about the importance of self-care. Spin has become her favorite form of exercise because it’s fun—it doesn’t feel like a task, and she loves how the music and choreography blend into the workout. Mary is a huge Swiftie (as her Spotify Wrapped will confirm), but her music tastes are diverse—she’s also into punk-pop, alternative rock, EDM, and plenty of throwback tunes. Mary believes SweatRx is the place to be, with a team that is as energetic as they are supportive. Whether you’re working on your fitness goals or just showing up for yourself, you’ll find a community that will lift you up and cheer you on every step of the way.

Lexi Lohr, a full-time pharmacy manager at Conemaugh Miners Medical Center in Hastings, PA, has always had a passion for fitness and wellness, which inspired her to launch SweatRx, her new business. Her music tastes lean toward rap, with favorite artists like Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, A$AP Rocky, J. Cole, and Big Sean. She loves teaching spin classes set to her favorite rap tracks, as well as EDM, pop punk, and other genres. Outside of spin, Lexi enjoys reading, baking, and spending time with her family—her mom, dad, brother, sister-in-law, and boyfriend, Brandon Donald. With the encouragement of these loved ones, along with her friends, Lexi was motivated to take the leap and start her own business. For Lexi, SweatRx is more than just a gym or spin studio—it’s a community where people can feel empowered and confident in their own bodies. It's a space where individuals can escape the stresses of daily life and come together to move, connect, and work out in a dark room on stationary bikes. At SweatRx, the mission is to promote both mental and physical health, encouraging a lifestyle that may help reduce reliance on unnecessary medications, all while empowering individuals to feel their best.
